Our Therapy Horses
Rennie
Rennie is our therapy pony. She has been a therapy horse for many many years but has only been with us for 1 year. She is currently working towards retirement because she is 19 years old now. She loves the kids and is one of the sweetest horses. She loves to eat so she is always on a diet program.
Lass
Lass is our resident therapy Arabian and all that implies. She truly is a diva. She also has been a therapy horse for a long time. Lass and Rennie came to us a year ago. She loves to talk to you and can be quite demanding. Everything must be just so before she will accept it. It's her way or the highway except when it comes to the kids. They always come first in her eyes. Lass is in her 20's.
Ready
Ready is our special therapy horse. He is a Saddlebred; which is Arabian and Thoroughbred breeds combined. This makes him really special. Ready came to us with some issues but is very loving and loves attention. You can see by the picture above he is quite a character. He is getting more and more comfortable in his own skin as a horse and is a great addition to our herd. He loves his girls and loves being the only boy at this time.
Lena
Two Guns up of "Lena" is a Quarter Horse Dun and is our baby. She is 5 years old and hasn't done much therapy yet. She still is learning and is in constant training. Don't let her age fool you, she rules the herd here. She loves children and wants to be with them at all times. She will follow them where ever they go. She is going to be a great therapy horse because she cares so much for everyone. She is very protective and makes sure everything is safe.
Betsy
Betsy is our newest addition and our tallest horse. Her real name is Lady Romeo, but we call her Betsy. She is 22 years old and a registered Thoroughbred from the race track. Her mother and father were great athletes, making over 20 million on the track. Betsy's heart wasn't into racing. She has found her new place in life. She does so great with our riders and likes to go slow! She is a great addition to our team.
